Miniature Schnauzer Puppies for Sale in the Oklahoma City Area
Welcome! My addiction to the Miniature Schnauzer breed began when I was in the 3rd grade, and my aunt’s schnauzers had puppies. It was downhill from there. I’m very blessed to have known eight schnauzers (and their now-adopted puppies) that have passed through the lives of my family since then.
Miniature Schnauzers are great family pets. They don’t shed, they are small enough to live comfortably with you inside the house, they bark at “intruders” (an exceptional security system), they are usually playful, they love chasing vermin out, and if properly socialized as puppies, they love children. HOWEVER: Please be aware that not all dogs are for all people. Different breeds have different temperaments and different physical needs. Support your local rescue shelters and adopt a dog if at all possible. If you cannot tolerate a barker, perhaps you should consider another breed. There are ways of training, but they require patience on your part. If you prefer larger breeds, be sure to take a look at Standard and Giant Schnauzers. I strongly suggest that you investigate different breeds through books, videos or classes so that you will find the breed that matches your lifestyle best.
